Dark brotherhoodstormcloak question

So I was thinking today if you help the Stormcloaks take Skyrim then go do the Dark Brotherhood chain does the emperor still go to solitude?
(I assume he does) but I wonder if there is any change in dialogue or anything I mean it just wouldn't make sense that the Emperor would be in a Stormcloak City.

Yes he shows up. Imperial guards will be standing right next to stormcloak ones.

It's a bit odd.

No it's the exact same.

It doesn't necessarily conflict with anything though.

Ulfric states that he has no interest in actually going to war against the empire, he just wants sovereignty. The imperial guards that show up with Mede do not attempt to attack or siege the city. Look at it as the empire formally recognizing Skyrim's sovereignty.
