The Zombie Apocalypse... HAS BEGUN! *Barricades self in Bree

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 6:54 am

So, I came out of Dragonsreach in Whiterun, and came down the left side, into the square.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Kodan882/Screenshots/IMG_1730.jpg

>_>
That is/was Olfina Gray-Mane. No idea why she's dead, BUT OH GOD SHE'S BEING DEVOURED BY ZOMBIE CHILDREN.

When suddenly, a random Whiterun guard runs up and tells everyone to back off, nothing to see.
Then he walks up to me and questions me about what happened, I have 2 options
1) Tell him I had no idea what happened
2) Tell him I'm saying nothing. (Basically, obstructing justice)

I go with option A, and the conversation ends, I proceed into the square. AND EVERYONE STARTS FOLLOWING ME.
EVERY SINGLE NPC IN WHITERUN. THEY START FOLLOWING ME.

I stop, they start crowding around me, just... Staring at me. >_>
Then the guard who stopped me before, walks up, and the same conversation occurs again (I hate this glitch)
I go with option A again. Conversation ends. ...He immedietly speaks to me, yet again >_>
This time, I go with option B. He then says he'll throw me in jail for the night.
I spend the night in jail, get out, and proceed back to the square.

This actually would be an awesome mod. Zombie Apocalypse mod. Everything that dies comes back to life as flesh eating zombies. Towns get overrrun. Zombies start showing up everywhere until it is an infestation.

Cool idea. Maybe throw some disgruntled necromancer behind it. Go to collage for answers and be sent on a long quest to;
-obtain samples for study
-gather components of cure
-smal scale test
-test fails and creats stronger ones
-defend collage from attack
-explore dwemer ruin of a cure (necro turns out to have found the (virus?) in it.
-Spred the cure
-be declared a knight by the...idonno...jarls?

Zombies. Of course they were already in Skyrim, I know as I have "made" some myself.

This, however, is something completely different. I am a little bit afraid. Thank goodness we now know that the apocalypse will start in Whiterun. I wonder if I will be as resolute as Rick and be able to plunk one between the eyes. One so young, I mean.

Personally, I think Markarth would be a better starting point. Then it would be easyer to be quarenteed at the start with the guards saying that something was found in the old ruins down bellow. The local foresworn protest saying that what was found is a great evil they knew of when they held the city. It then spreads to smaller towns (like riverwood) and soon gets out of control

along those lines, Cidhna mine workers stumble across the ruins and accidentally release the disease. Silver-bloods, out of fear for losing business, attempt to quarantine the zombies, but keep them working. Disease escapes on contaminated silver shipments.

Meh. This is hilarious anyway, and one of the first few glitches that isn't a detriment (Such as DELETING ALL MY SAVE FILES, or breaking a quest and forcing a restart)

carrotfeets and pres_Eden (sorry, can't quote from my smartphone for some reason)

I love that idea of a zombie mod with a quest having a necromancer behind it.

Anyone play Warhammer? I'd love a mod (or DLC??? hint hint Bethesda) that has a questline to track down a Necrarch style vampire or necromancer.

For those that don't play Warhammer, Nechrarchs are basically the necromancy bloodline of vampires. They no longer require blood to live, as they live off the magic of their necromancy. They command armies of zombies, skeletons, and other forms of undead, and that is how they march to war.

A questline of a town being invaded by hordes of undead, at the command of a rogue necromancer would make me soooo happy.

I say 1st DLC = above mentioned questline, with magic expansions of new (returning) spell effects and spellmaking (balanced for the new system).

Won't happen. But if it did, I'd [censored]. Hard.

Umm... so what exactly happened in those pictures?... Is it just a bug?? That seems like a really detailed, drawn out bug, with the guard talking to him and everything... I'm so confused!

And by the way, I had a mod for Oblivion that did EXACTLY what you guys are talking about! It was so cool, but it had a lot of problems. :( A mod like that for Skyrim would be epic!

The people are checking the dead woman's body. Cupping a feel or something.

Their ashen complexion is due to night eye used by PC.

BRB, going to Azeroth again.

Gonna go kill Kel Thu'zad before he spreads more of his scourge in to our Elder Scrolls games!

EDIT: An idea more original to the game series that we're playing? How about a Wild Hunt DLC where Skyrim begins to be overrun by shape-shifting Bosmer?

Yeah, it's a bug. They were stuck in the "I'm currently examining this corpse" pose, which just happens to look like they're devouring a corpse.

Their "ashen complexion" is due to
1) I took a screenshot of my TV screen because I don't havea DVR and play the 360 version.
2) I don't have Night-Eye.
3) I paused the game using the Item menu and then took a screenshot of that because of number 1.

DLC? Expansion Pack? For Zombies? Hell, I hope not. If so, it will be the first extra that I refuse to purchase. I was excited (at first) about a game called Dead Island, but guess what...

I just got burnt out on the whole Zombie thing in the 80s. Games that had potential were /are ruined because of that.
