Actor SpellList Tab has 'broken' functions

This tab does not yet have a wiki page, and I am not confident enough to start it. But I THINK that I have found an issue with the spell and perk lists, in that if you use the copystack feature from a different NPC that has been modified via the CK, and paste that into a new npc, then the modified npc chat you copied from will also be modified in a game that only uses your new NPC.

Let me try to explain a bit better.. I made a new lydia.esp, and liked how that went, so wanted to use her as a model in a new game, but using eola. So I created my eola, then added my lydia.esp to the folder, and started the creation kit with both esp files ticked, eola active. Opened two object windows, one with lydia, one with eola, did a copystack from lydia's spell and perk lists in the spell list tab and a pastestack into eola's. Saved, deleted Lydia from folder, then played game. So only eola.esp in game data, other than some other mods (apachiisky hair, CBBE...), but no Lydia. Finally got to the end of Dragon Rises quest, and there is my modified Lydia.

Please someone, tell me what I did wrong, as there seems to be bugger-all written about this wee 'feature'. And a nice feature it would be, except...
