Hey guys, got this problem that is really getting to me now.

When I use the 3 axis gizmo I used to be able to nudge the active object in really small increments using the arrow keys on my keyboard, but lately it is playing up and now seems to jump about in large increments. Did I change a setting in my preferences or something because I have a feeling that I may have clicked something or changed a numerical value and now have no memory of how to change it back to smaller increments.

If anyone can help me out that would be great.

Open the CK, click File up at top and then click Preferences. Uncheck the box that says "Snap to Grid" and "Snap to Angle".

that didnt fix it but i know what it was now i go to the preferences and change the numerical value of "ARROW SPEED". Which makes sense to be honest.
