xyz axis problem

Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 10:02 pm

I know this is probably fixed with pushing one button, but I can't find that button so I'll ask here. First time making mods, and now when I try to move objects on the Y axis, the camera snaps around in a circle every time i hit Y.

And now when i try to hold Z or X to move objects on one axis, they don't follow that line. Then sometimes the camera swings out and all objects disappear. HELP.

Oh, I get it now - Z X C - so the keys are nice and lined up!!

Convenient, but, IMO, what a horrible change to make in the middle of a released product.

And with video tutorials that tell you it is Y as well. I personally don't see what difference it makes if its Y or C :|

It's great for me. Y is way out there, and I never used C before. Now I have all three right next to eachother. I'll have to break the habit of hitting Y after 3 years of doing it, but it's for the better I certainly see why they did it.
