Basically, I got the quest off of the Quintus guy and I had no Briar Hearts in my inventory beforehand. Got the snow, the tusk powder, so all good so far.

Then, when I went to 'Claim a Briar Heart' the map showed me a pointer to Sundered Towers, whereas the actual pointer on the screen pointed to a Red Eagle cave. I thought it was giving you choices so I went towards the cave and when I was metres away, the whole game froze and I had to turn my console off (Xbox360). I thought it was just a mere glitch so I turned it on again and luckily I had saved on the hill just up from it. So I went towards it again, and IT FROZE AGAIN so i turned it off..and the third time, it froze.

I'm just wondering, are you supposed to go to the towers or the cave and has this happened to anyone else? Bugging me a lot. I'm getting sick of the glitches in the game, it's messed up a lot of gameplay for me.

Just get any heart it doesn't matter the arrow just directs you to a possible spawn location for a forsword briar heart.

Just go to any large Forsworn 'camp' in The Reach.

This was patched so that you could use any briar heart, so you can even buy one. I did have a glitch where I couldn't drop or use briar hearts until I had completed the quest, since they were considered a quest item. Not sure if that was fixed or not.
