I have a question or two about shields and was hoping someone could help me out. Do shields effect running speed in anyway? If so, do all shields, heavy or light, impact movement speed the same amount? Or is the a difference between heavy and light shields? Or is the difference based on the weight of the shield?

Would I move faster with a leather shield than with a glass shield?
Would I move faster with a glass shield than a ebony shield
Or would I move the same speed with either a leather shield or an ebony shield?

My character uses light armor, but armor rating aside, are there any negitive impacts of using heavy shields? There does not seem to be many good light shields, so I wanted to know the downside of sporting a heavy shield with light armor.

I've searched, but I just can't seem to find an answer to these questions. Any help would be much appreciative.

I don't think so, i use shields and havent really noticed a difference in speed so if their is it is slight
