My idea for taking this type of game to a whole new level

I'm sure that a "requests" thread somewhere. But, this is not about this game specifically, but the sandbox genre in general which Elder Scrolls does as well as anyone. With the power of computers increasing, I'd like to see more artificial intelligence incorporated into the NPC characters--make them more lifelike. Instead of a couple of things to say or a scripted discussion, give them the ability to create dialog. More realistic interaction with game characters would be an amazing improvment. Have people with which your character can develop friendships with where it feels real, not just answering questions. Go into a tavern just to hang out with a couple of the characters and get to know the town people so when the dragon is frying the place it really means something. The wife complains you're never home, and you leave your bloody clothes all over the house, etc.

I know this may be a while away, but character interaction hopefully is the next step forward. The work on graphics has progressed amazingly over the last few years, but NPC dialog has been as stagnant as pond water.

The only problem is that when they can do this, androids will come to your house and kill your ass.

I think it is interesting to note that AI improvements were notoriously absent from the Jam Video...
Enough said.
