Post » Thu Jun 21, 2012 6:42 pm

I am really far away from Whiterun and Jorvasskr i am a little bit south of winterhold. And in a mountain i saw Farkas,Athis and Torvar fighting a Snow bear o.o
Does this happen alot for you that you see companions walk around and hunt?
This was pretty cool i must say.but now they just run around in circles....

I only saw them hunting away from Whiterun on a character that diddnt join the Companions and in that character it happened frequently as if the game was constantly trying to remind me that the companions exist and that I should join them, did you join the companions? If not then that is probably why.

I saw them once near Northwatch Keep very far in the west and another time near Helgen, not long after I had escaped from there.

In once had them run back and forth around a mountain in the Reach. I'm pretty sure it was a bug, considering they came back immediatly after (and wouldn't come back before) I turned in the quest I was doing for Aela.

It does happen. I ran across Aela and two others fighting a mammoth on the coast N.E. of Windhelm yesterday. I thought one of the guys was dead. He was upright in the mud with his heels touching the back of his head. When I walked up to him he would spin around like he was on a turntable and he informed me that I hadn't proved myself yet. I FUS'ed him out of the mud and went on my way.

I saw them a couple of times near Riften. I think there were a couple of people in the Fighters guild in Oblivion that did the same thing

I've seen Vilkas and Ria out and about, Farkas, Athis and Torvar in another group. I've yet to see Aela on the hunt, but I'm sure she'll show up eventually. It's pretty cool to run into 'em ^.^

You'll see them out there even if you have joined the Companions. I did at least once; saw the encounter in the distance and ran up to investigate, turned out to be Vilkas. Had him follow me for a while to help carry stuff.

I've seen them around Winterhold killing wildlife, and when I speak to them, they act like we're back in Jorrvaskr. They'll offer training or give quests in the middle of the blizzard.

My Nord is also Harbinger, but it doesn't seem to matter.

I've seen them all over the place after completing the Companions questline.
But on my current playthrough I haven't done that guild and haven't ever see them out and about at all.

It doesn't happen often, but try traveling between Dawnstar and Winterhold, away from the roads. They seem to like the snow.

I once saw a few of them, while traveling to Ysgramor's Tomb, on a Companion quest. It was a random event, seeing them fighting wildlife in the distance.
