Breton Infiltrator?

Alright guys, I'm going to be making a Breton "Infiltrator" on Skyrim. I'm going to use Conjuration to summon bows for long range kills and swords for fights. I'm also going to use Illusion to help me sneak places, along with pretty much all of the Thief skills. Would this be a good build? I usually play as "pure" something, such as a mage that uses exclusively magic skills, but I wanted to diversify the game by mixing some different skills. I know Bretons are mostly supposed to be magic focused, but I really wanted to be something other than a Khajiit or Argonian. Bosmer isn't an option for me because that's what I played as in Oblivion and don't want to feel like I'm building the same character as before. Do you think my build would be good with the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood? Or would I be better off just building a pure thief?

Dunmer might be a better option but in the end it won't matter what race you are. The idea would work though and is useful. I have done it before but it was difficult in the beginning.

Funny enough, highest starting attributes to illusion is actually given to Altmer.

My Breton does fine with the Dark Brotherhood and the Thieves Guild. She uses Conjuration a lot! Conjuration is your friend.
