I ssee what the big deal is now regarding modding

Keep up the good words, people. With a little luck and a good tailwind, eventually all those console players out there will see the light, get PC's, and we'll finally get back to games being made the way they are supposed to be- primarily for the PC. PC gaming is just simply better_in_every_way.

cept cost, among other things.

a 360 and a used copy of skyrim will run you less then $300, a good gaming PC will run you anywere from $700-$4000+ plus you actually have to know about PC's the internals how to connect stuff and make it run, then if you do have a PC and a game comes out you dont know if your PC can handle it, might need some form of upgrade to handle it.
then you have more mainstream things coming to consoles, hands free tech (kinect, wii, and what not) netflix and music, x box live, playstation network. and you know that when you buy a 360/ps3 game for your console, it can run it.

despite the PC being a better gaming platform (360 was released in 2005, with the best PC tech of 04) consoles are cheaper and more user friendly.

I would love to have an awsome PC, but as it stands, i dont feel bad at all playing a 360 (besides, all my friends and familly do and we play with each other dailly ^_^

Well that's a bit of an overstatement. You may be able to play the game on low res on something like that but you certainly aren't going to have much fun with mods which is what this is all about. Most mods, not all but most, put a hit on performance and a low end computer will suffer badly from a lot of them.

I've about 16 mods installed (not many by now, but I'm very selective), and still my character has been dying like crazy in my second playthough of the game (Master difficulty since the beginning).....so yes, no unbalance for me at all :(

But I really like to have things like a nice unique armor and armored fur hoods, a new badass sword and shield, a house in the middle of a waterfall, to have Mark/Recall back, several short-range teleport spells, Absorb/Restore Health on range spells (the Absorb one is the only ranged attack my character has), a bag of holding for all my loot...and also knowing I'll never run out of perk points, even if I reach a very high level character. I love to play "mystical warrior" characters who rely on magic only as support (Restoration/Alteration), so mods that add "Mysticism-like" spells are ideal for me :)

Do yourself a favor, learn to use the mouse and keyboard, and wean yourself off of console controllers. With the exception of a very few games specifically intended to work best with a controller, most PC games are far easier and more efficient to play with a mouse. Especially ones that require any fine control and aiming.

i grew up with the mouse and key. efficiency is not why i choose to use a controller, nor, do i experience a loss in precision in the areas i deem important.

the mouse and key has always been an absolutely inorganic experience for me. the disconnect was so bad that i stopped playing video games alltogether.

the creation of different control sticks and controllers was the greatest invention for me (and my dad, lol) way back when.

and, besides, i've defeated way too many people in online fps who do use the mouse/key for me to worry about that supposedly better control and aiming.

Most $400 laptops are 720p [1366x768] as is that one. I'm sure it can handle anything but graphics mods and the video stated it was medium settings. Rebalance, new spells/armor/quests/companion mods should be no problem. Plus you own the game for ever and can install it on any PC you get in the future.

I think the biggest point is that Skyrim is decently playable with all but the lowest graphics solution of the last 2 years and on the CPU end much of the stuff from the last 3 years is good enough, meaning you are $150 or so in parts away [installation extra] from PC glory.
