Choosing Soul Gems for Recharge

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 5:23 am

When I recharge an enchanted weapon, the game gives me a non-scrolling list of certain charged soul gems I have in inventory. However, often I don't wish to use the three or four gems the game gives me. Since I can't scroll this list, I have no obvious way to choose different gems to recharge (T) my weapons.

How do I scroll this soul gem list or cause other gems to appear on the non-scrolling list? TIA

you only can use soul gems for charging, recharging, and enchanting. if you asking if you can use rupees or diamonds that answer is n o. also it depends on what soul you have stored in the soul gem

No. I mean I have, say, 20 charged soul gems in inventory. The choice I have for re-charging is limited to three or four in the non-scrolling list.

I am assuming you are on the PC. Then use the Arrow keys to move up and down a list, once you have it open and focused. You can also use the arrow keys to move over to the list from left to right.

Also, make sure you have to Controller and the Rumble unselected in the Gameplay Options. That can improve keyboard/mouse response in the UI.

Note, use your lowest value gems with souls to recharge first. You get skill up's for each re-charge, not how much you re-charge.

Ha. Arrow keys. I was trying to find the scrolling bars for use with the mouse. Yes, I'm on a PC. Thanks.

The mousewheel works as well in that menu. Just spin it to scroll the list up or down. Took me ages to find that one, another  for the UI.

Maybe I need a bigger mouse. The arrows did work, though.
