Why become a Bard at the college when you can't play instruments! When will Bethesda make this a part of the game?

I became a Bard because I thought I'd be able to play instruments then, and was really disappointed when I found out it's not possible.
It would be cool if NPCs you run into randomly asked you to sing a song for them.

It would be cool to retire a character and have them start up a band or something. Travel from town to town playing in the pubs and stuff. Skyrim Tour 4E 201!

When they have finished putting in all of the other stuff that everyone wants that everyone else considers to be equally important.

I know some people would like to see this as it falls into that "Rock Band" category, but there are only two songs in the game.

Besides, I am no fan of mini games. I think they should be removed all together. Like lockpicking...these things should be achieved by the skill of the character and not the player. That is why the spell tomes "open" should have been left in the game. They actually relied on the skill of the character.

So, no more mini games for me.

It doesn't have to be a mini game, just an animation. I could care less about playing the instrument as a mini game. And there's more than two songs in the game. Ragnar The Red, Age of Oppression, Age of Aggression, The Dragonborn Comes, and Tales of the Tongues. So there's 5. When they add this feature, they could also add another song.

Ha!...Yes, well...When I said two that was not to be meant as an exact figure. Besides...5 is not any better.

I would, however welcome a questline for the Bards. It seems that it was something that was either scrapped at the last min, or not finished. That would be fine, as long as I am not forced to tap combos along a bouncing ball. Then I really don't know what else you would do with that.

I guess one can always choose to not do it...right? I am all about player choice and options. As long as it remains so.

Hmmm, im thinking if this DOES get put in, it'll probably be after all the combat features are done. In 1.5 we had killcams and in 1.6 we are probably going to have horseback whacking. So leisure and entertainment will have to wait, hah

Though yes, the bard's college is pretty pointless i gave it up after realising that it was just an excuse for a chain of side quests.

It's actually 2.5 times better. lol. But yes, definitely need more songs. If they nerfed the dude in Whiterun who screams about Talos because people found him annoying, then they should add more songs because it's annoying to hear the same songs all the time.

P.S. I actually liked the guy in Whiterun shouting about Talos. Was surprised they did that, after not playing for months then starting again.
