Great game. Have just passed level 50 but have never been able to place quest items in their designated containers such as Klimmicks supplies in the chest on the mountain or to complete some shill jobs for the Thieves Guild. I have the quest item in my inventory, I approach the container, and then what? The mimute I go to inventory the container closes. I play PC so I drop items with the same key-M1-as I use te sheathe the weapon but the message is clear="You cannot drop quest items". How in Gods name do you get the quest items to go into the containers? I got little to no assistance from Steam who simply told me to go to the games manufacturer or the game web site. Here I am. Anyone care to help? Thanks.

If im reading this right... you open the container select the item from you list and put it in.
