I just had a hilarious scene occur. As I wait outside of a shop for a courier to come, I saw a healing potion on the ground. I went, no way. So I quickly take the game up on it's offer and this lady I see is coming running towards where the healing potion was. At first I thought, did I steal something? Nope instead she says,

"Oh well, guess someone had to take it"

lol.

Anyone have anything weird like this happen?

Yepp. Go to a marketplace with a few NPCs around and drop something valuable on the ground, like a nice enchanted weapon or armor. Then step back and watch the mayhem!
Hint: You might want to save before you do that!
