Unfortunately, your attacks while mounted are limited to weapons; if you want to cast spells, you still need to dismount

Does that mean that we wont be able to use Mystic bow in mounting combat? Thats rather frustrating!

No it just means you cant use spells/magic like shouts,flames etc. you can still use any type of bow,sword, axe etc,

I have the beta for mounted weapons. You can use normal bows. I have no idea about summoned weapons, though.

A summoned weapon won't work because you sheathe when you mount regardless, and you can't cast spells while mounted so you can't cast the spell to conjure the bow.

I hope they'll add mounted magic in an upcoming patch :smile:

As well as spells that affect the mount (for example, make it temporarily faster, coat it with a frost aura, and so on)

No they don't work, if you dismount and summon the bow and then mount again, your player sheathes :\

Is it possible to use a staff for mounted combat, or is that non-equipable while mounted as well? If it is the latter, then it REALLY svcks for mages. :sadvaultboy:
