» Fri Jun 22, 2012 12:07 pm The thing about Skyrim's Smithing, is that you can upgrade any weapon to do insane amounts of damage. My Daedric Sword does right about 400, my Steel Sword does right about 350. Both of these will kill almost anything in a hit or 2, and that's without calculating the enchantments. It's hard to say which weapon is best, because I could make an iron war axe do more damage than it. 1 thing I will tell you is that the Mace of Molag Bal and Azura's/The Black Star is a great combination. I don't have to worry about using valuable soul gems to recharge my enchanted weapons anymore.
Valuable soul gems? Money is so easy to come by that by the 20s or so you can buy petty and lesser soul gems in bunches to keep your weapons charged.
