Where abouts do you think the Vampire castle will be in Dawn : V

Hey everyone i'm very new to forums i don't ever go on them so i thought i'd give it a try.

Was just trying to figure out where that sweet Vampire Castle would be from the Dawnguard DLC. I'm assuming 1 of 2 places, Either the top left corner of the map near Solitude, or possibly the top right corner of the map near Winterhold, What do you think?

There is a town that is abandoned due to the dark arts mantioned in one of the books off the coast of winterhold, so Im assuming there.

It looks like north of WWinterhold.

Confirmed to be in the North West waters of the Sea of Ghosts (so top left)

Well by "an inaccessible region of the far northwest corner" i assume the ice water jetty is very top left corner where it always says "you cannot go there" there's really big icebergs there so that's where it would be i'm thinking

It will be far to the north of Northwatch keep somewhere on the top left corner.In the official game guide there is 2 islands way up at the top of the map that could well be the location of the castle :biggrin:

I know its suppose to be in the Rift, but to be honest don't see where it could fit.

Yeah in the Rift somewhere. I'm seeing on the map there's a fair amount of space in between the Rift and Falkreath, that could be it, Not long now till we know for sure

Fort Dawnguard I7 - by the mountain in the center of that square
Castle Volkihar B1 - there are islands that don't show up on this map but the castle should be there or just a little north of B1.

The information is mainly from clues in interviews, I guess we will find out in about 6 days.
