So, in preporation for Dawngaurd, I decided to make a vampire. He's a pretty standard one, dark elf, stealth/mage type. The problem is I'm getting a bit bored. I've already beaten the thieves guild, and the dark brotherhood has never held much interest for me. So in turms of long questlines (that I know of, that is) all I have left that's related to my character is the magrs guild. And the mages guild is my least favorite questline in skyrim. All that being said, my inevitable question is this: what are some fun (and preferably long) questlines for a vampire to do?

The standard http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Vampirism#Vampirism_in_Skyrim is pretty, pretty bad. It's way weaker than those who were infected with http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Vampire and after 4 days you will be attacked on sight. My advice? Wait for Dawnguard. Skyrim isn't a place for the Vampires.

Morthal has a relatively small questline that's perfect for vampires but aside from that there's very little vampire content quest-wise in Skyrim. Molag Bal's quest is another one though it has nothing to do with vampires aside from it being Molag Bal.

This thread might be of some interest to you, I put this thread together when I was thinking about what quest I wanted to do for my vampire. I'm just going to start a new character when I get dawnguard since vampires and all the vampire lairs are getting overhauled.
