whats the hightest level ward and dose anyone find them useful at all?

The highest level ward in vanilla is Greater Ward, an Expert spell. I find them of some marginal use, but they're not great, which is why there's a decent section of mods that adds better wards or adds improvements to wards. I have a Master level ward that reflects spell damage and KBs melee attackers, for ex.

I don't find them that useful I try to use them more for rping than anything.

also i seen a person on youtube block a dragons fire breath with the spellbreaker can you do that with a good ward too?

Yes. Dragon Breath is actually one of the things they're better at.

I love blocking dragon breath with my ward, feel more like a real mage.

I use Lesser Ward against dragons and mages. It protects me well, and it also costs the least to cast.

I've always assumed they were much more useful with a game controller, since holding down a trigger is easier than keeping a key depressed while you click a mouse button with the other hand. (Or it is for me, anyway.)
