In probably the greatest timing event I'll ever see in my gaming history, I decided to apply the infinite arrow technic to the guard in Whiterun. Before I got to the city, I did one more quest which netted me 9 daedric arrows and a daedric dagger (took out a Centurion in one of the Dwarven ruins).

This was at level 38, and I've yet to see any daedric items show since then. Moreso, ebony is just starting to hit chests and glass has been extremely sparse (three shields and one gaunlet is all I've seen. No armor. No boots. No helmets.)

Is this a glitch I should be concerned with or did the game just bless me?

I don't think it's a glitch. I scored daedric arrows on a Centurion, as well as ebony ones during a dwemer dungeon dive at similar player levels before. On my current playthrough (level 23) I scored one daedric arrow at Fletcher's and I've yet to find a piece of ebony anywhere. Gave it to Iona to use , and am now building up a nice quiver to use on the dragon priests. Hoping to find a glass bow soon.

I'm level 81 and have yet to see any daedric drop. I get tons of ebony everything though.

I only find it through Tonilla who sells it.

if you are very lucky you can find daedric and dragonbone/ scale items in random loot chests.
I dont know the exact chance, but its very rare and seems to be able to happen at any level.

I've found 2 pieces of dragonbone when I was in my 30's.

I've found a Daedric mace once. Not sure about the my lvl or were i've found it.

Luckily you can make Daedric armor/weapons from the Atronach forge Dragonbone/scale however...

Stay away from that demonic daedra armor!
(i cheated my way through to take a look at the armors once.. I must say i was highly dissapointed in both ebony armor (robocop much?) and daedric armor)

So i roleplay persons who all believes those armors are for witches and foul demons!

I'm still in the low 30s and have already found several pieces of Ebony armor and a Daedric bow. The higher level Draugr are already spawning with Ebony weapons as well... can't remember where I got the bow but I think it was just random loot in a chest. No Daedric arrows yet but I haven't done any Dwemer dungeons, and I haven't really looked to see if they're showing up for sale in vendor inventory.

9 times out of 10 you will find Daedric arrows off a centurian though it will only be a handful I usually give them to a follower (to start building up my own quiver) and that started out at around level 30? Since then I've only been lucky enough to find 2 pieces of Daedric armor (Gloves and Helmet) in random chests found the helmet around level 45 and the gloves the other day at around level 60. Though you do start to find lots of glass and ebony at around 35-40+. Oh and I found an enchanted Daedric bow at around level 55.

So count yourself lucky you found that Daedric Dagger.

I start finding dragon armor items (rarely) once I'm above, say, level 35. I have NEVER found a daedric item, at any level.

wow i thought you could only get daedric items from smithing im onli lvl 40 none of my of characters have made it this far... can you get dragon armor with out smithing then? oviously going to be very rare...

Weapons start dropping earlier than Armor do. Which is why you start seeing Orcish Weapons as early as level 6, but you don't see Orcish Armor dropping until around level 26 or so.
