So Jenassa isnt equiping any chest pieces, anyone got any ideas how to fix this.

What are you trying to give her? I think she's light armor and won't easily equip anything heavy. I think......

Try give her a set of elven armor or glass armor.(Dragonscale for the better effect)

I just tried giving her some banded iron as it has far higher DP than her leather armour, she equips the gauntlets and boots just not the chestpiece.

I have this problem too. She is really picky. She prefers Light armour to heavy so you might want to try giving her that.
Also if you play on the Xbox 360 you could try giving her the armour and weapons you want her to wear. Then save the game, reload and then either fast travel or load into a new area like your house and she normally has the gear on that you gave her. If you die she'll end up back in her leather armour but saving and reloading then zoning into somewhere else will usually fix this. Works for me anyway, if you play on the 360.

She prefers light armor. That's also one of her tagged skills, so giving her banded iron is counter-productive. Give her the best improved light armor you have available.

Just because the Banded has a higher AR to you doesn't mean it does for her. Her heavy armor and light armor skills are different than yours.

Yeah i just read up on the wikki, however if she only equips light armour then why does she equip heavy armour gauntlets and boots?

The AR difference between Light and Heavy gauntlets and boots isn't as extreme as the chest piece. If you have to have her in heavy army (WHY?) then just upgrade the heavy armor and she'll wear it as soon as it's AR is more than her leather armor (to HER, based on her skills).

Nah im not saying she needs to be in heavy armour but followers auto equip items that are the most powerful, i found it odd when she eqiupped the gauntlets and boots bur not the chest piece, but ive just smithed a full leather armour set to fine and gave it her and she equipped none of it even though its light armour... Tempramental [censored], she worked fine in my other play througs.
