Killing in bulk.

The one thing I have yet to figure out is an effective way to kill multiple enemies standing close together all at once. I play as a sneaky mystic archer type and I really wish there were some kind of exploding arrows for situations like this.

I am a huge fan of the Fallout series and my favorite thing to do was sabotage large groups of enemy NPCs. I would set mines and traps all around in key places, then throw a grenade in a group of enemies. The one's that survived ran trying to find me only to die from the traps I set. I really added a lot to the strategy of the game.

In Skyrim this does not really seem to be an option. Can anyone give me any suggestions as to how one might go about doing something like this, if it is even possible.

I wish you could shoot more than one arrow at once at the cost of stamina

I at least wish we could set traps. I would love to shoot an enemy and have them come at me only to be finished off by the trap I had strategically placed.

If by mystic you mean illusion then you've got some options there for crowd clearance by turning them on each other. If your just relying on archery, not much you can do to clear masses besides slowly sneak killing one by one :/

Yeah placeable conventional traps would be great, distract an enemy right into a poison laced bear trap. Would be even better if they clamped on and locked an enemy in too :P Or maybe dropping oil jugs and setting them off with a flaming arrow.

Traps would be a VERY lore-friendly thing to add too. Since there are already traps, why can't we just pick 'em up and set 'em back down again or buy them from a blacksmith?

You can in fact carry some bear traps, not place them in your inventory however, but you can still pick them up and reset them, i think there's one at fort graymore in the basemant

You can pick up bear traps but that's about it, I agree that it would be awesome to be able to set traps.

I just place magic runes over the whole place and it works nicely.

There's the Sweep perk for 2-handers.

I would love to be able to enchant arrows, though. Or at least enchant bows with AoE magic.

Storm Call, that's what you need. I like going to a Stormcloak camp and Shouting that.
