Hate the map ? then read this !

Hello everybody !
After I saw how unrealistic the map is ( I love it but.. )
I know what you can do if you want more realistic and RP wise gameplay using the map !
  • You'll need a copy of the physical map
  • When you switch to the map , immediately look at your physical map , why ?
  • It doesn't spoil places.
  • You actually need to think about your whereabouts instead of seeing the map floating above your head.
  • It's more RPG like.
  • You see roads , holds and borders.
  • It's HQ
I have the map sticked to the wall next to my PC.
Many won't like this idea , but for me it works amazingly well.

I got my physical map hanging above my tv, just like Oblivion's map was next to me on the wall and Morrowind's was above my tv when I played that. Although I don't use them to travel with, they're still fun to look at.

Why would you even pull up the map in the game?
No need to look away.

This was discussed by many members several weeks prior to release. I have a makeshift copy that I used to make notes on before I moved to PC. Now I use this. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10044

The version with no map markers.

Then I could write notes myself in a diary for every quest I take, without using the awful Skyrim journal. RP to the extreme!

Probably meant for the console players (such as myself) with no access to mods.
