I like to play this song when followers I care about fall in battle and I lay them to their final rest. Apart from the fact that it's from the soundtrack of one of my favourite series the song itself conveys a real sense of sorrow and longing for home which is something my Nord feels deeply about his home of Skyrim in the clutches of a war pitting his brother and sister Nords to kill one-another.
