Does anybody still bother enjoy fighting Dragons anymore ?

I assume this kind of topic has been covered before but I don't come on here much.

My 1st & 2nd character would fight dragons when they appeared but it became a bit repetitive in my opinion, and actually quite annoying. From then on I completely avoided doing the Whiterun quest that forced the dragon encounters to begin.

Does anybody else feel the same or do you still find it enjoyable taking down a dragon ?

I like to mix it up a bit: try using wabbajack, or a dagger, or even your own fists! Or maybe try doing it while only wearing the jester hat and nothing else? Like I said, mix it up lol

Love them - in fact even though we aren't doing the MQ, I have a mod that allows for 1 or more dragons to randomly appear at any given time.
They look and sound brilliant, they are great to just hide/run away from and if you do bring one down it's just awesome.

The more the merrier.

I do still enjoy the dragons. The fights have never bored me. I always wondered how someone could get bored of dragons and yet be fine constantly fighting wolves and bandits.

With my 4th character, I had to start the quest in order to get a house in Whiterun. However, I've found that if I refuse the followup conversation with Delphine (after the first visit to High Hrothgar and the quest that results from it), NO DRAGONS SPAWN. I can't find them ANYWHERE, and it's quite a relief.

I wouldn't go as far as saying I hate them, they just interrupted my travels from time to time and I thought, aw here we go again. Who knows, mixing it up is a good idea. Maybe in a few months time I'll actually miss them and want to start fighting them again.

Yes to collect bones for the dragonbone weapons...if you can craft them. Not that I had a shortage of bones. I still find dragon fights enjoyable at least better than other skyrim wildlife.

I haven't even activated the main quest in my current playthrough. I am roleplaying a person who is not (or at least isn't aware that he is) the dragonborn. It's a nice change of pace, and you don't have the burden of being the last hope of saving the world.

I must confess that I was getting tired of the dragons, and I haven't seen them in months now. I can't say I miss them. I may do a MQ playthrough later though... much later.

I enjoy dragon fights sometimes. When I'm not trying to do a quest or just trying to sell off some stuff and dragon interrupts and ends up killing people I need. :swear:
