The guards in this game must of been crappy and weak adventu

I've been shot up with arrows and hacked up and gotten into fights with wizards and monsters. None of my injuries put a damper on my adventuring, also if you got that wounded would being a guard really be the best thing for you to do? they'd just be hobbling after people

If you got a arrow straight through your knee, you most likely will never use that knee again.

I remember visting an Imperial Camp and one of the soliders was complaining about an arrow in the knee(different dialog then the guards). And the soliders next to him said "Quit Complaining"

I want to see you take an arrow to the knee, and still be able to walk right.

I took an arrow in the knee once, thankfully it was the kind with a suction cup on the end.

Are you comparing the guards to the Dragonborn? If so there is no contest, and specifically because their destiny isn't to save the world.

I've actually took an Arrow to the knee on Skyrim. I am still an adventurer.

The guards are just lazy.

I've had an arrow to the groin and if that doesn't put a dampener on your adventuring, nothing will.

But what if they ARE the Dragonborn, and they just don't know it yet!!!

If the guards are weak, then Ulfric Stormcloak is weaker. I had very fun watching him try to fight his way through Ivarstead the other day. Despite his bold words, it didn't go very well, the guards beat him to the ground repeatedly. :P

I really think all those guards are just using the "arrow in the knee" excuse because they feel so inferior whenever the Dragonborn walks by. The offending arrow probably just grazed their leg, but for all their talk you'd think their knee cap had been shattered. Which is something I often want to do when they say that line. :toughninja:
