I'm from germany and we do not have patch1.6 yet. Do i need to HAVE 1.6 to make the game compatible with Dawnguard?
Do we even get Dawnguard in germany on the 26th, too?
I don't think we get 1.6 before 26th...Beth and Microsoft is just too slow!

1.6 will most likely come with Dawnguard anyway, but it would be a pretty sly move if they didn't release it in all regions before Dawnguard though...

That's [censored] horrible! Why should Microsoft use 2weeks(or even more) to deploy a patch to other countries then UK?!
With all previous patched they managed it to deliver them world-wide on the same day!

it's because of the stupid kinect update which is still not released in germany. that's the reason we have to wait for the 1.6 patch...

And who needs a crappy kinect support that slows down combat and is much slower then just klicking some buttons?

I have the French version & i sent yesterday to Bethesda the question about the release date of 1.6 and kinect update for other language/countries.

The staff answers me that:


"Gstaff has replied to a personal conversation entitled "Kinect & 1.6 update for French versions ?".

Gstaff said:

So not before monday because Microsoft won't work on weekends
And without Kinect we don't get 1.6 and without 1.6 we won't get Dawnguard.
Most likely everyone without Kinect update won't get Dawnguard on release day....
