Yeah, I've seen that suggested a lot. I doubt Bethesda will take TES to Akavir until they've dealt with every province in Tamriel first.

It would be amazing to play as one of the Akavir races but I severely doubt that would happen.
Your character if an elf would be the first elf to ever set foot in Akavir. =P
They would have to bring back the Morrowind mechanic of some beast races like the Vampire snake people can't wear leggings/boots but can wear a cuirass and helmet and gauntlets, its cool just thinking about it..but meh.
