Release info for next week

Post » Sat Jun 23, 2012 9:42 am

I would assume we'll start hearing DLC info for PS3 & PC starting by the end of next week once DG is out on XBox.

I hope so. I don't think us people on the PS3 will even get the patch though.

I didn't realize you guys didn't have 1.6 yet. :(

Yeah, PS3 & PC owners money isn't as good as Microsoft money, so we have to wait for little things like fixes and content.

In truth I don't care about waiting, I didn't buy the game until it had been out for at least 4 months, but still, lame seeing one platform seemingly ignored, and the platform the series was born on taking a backseat to Xbox gamers.

I look at it as an open beta available on XBox 360 only. I just wish they would throw us a bone on some kind of release information.

Oh I do too.. but its the principle. I understand Bethesda taking the money, they are a business, but as I said, it's tough to think of my platform as being less important because of the all mighty dollar. Especially considering how my more expensive my platform was compared to a console. ha

I feel bad for people on pc and ps3 and for people in other countries :( I feel guilty for getting dawnguard and the 1.6 patch so much early-er then them.

You could always hold off on getting Dawnguard for a month to show support. ;)

I think all the people who have to wait to play it would want me to buy it the day it comes out. I'll do it..For them.

My poor Xbox hard drive isn't going to have any space left on Tuesday with this and the ME3 Extended Cut  . Nonetheless, it's good news.

Im going to download both of them. Play through ME3 last mission quickly, feel slightly better but still somewhat dissapointed, then I will start Dawnguard and all will be well.

Pc players already have the 1.6 patch. And, don't worry, I'm not in a hurry; I won't buy Dawnguard on release. :)

My good lady, perchance, what is in this mythical "1.6 patch" you speak off?

Horseback fighting is taking some time to perfect. Especially shooting arrows. In a month when DH comes out I'll be ready. :)

Patch 1.6, you know, the one that brought mounted combat? The one that is needed to play Dawnguard. :)

D'oh. Patch notes always pass me by, I knew we already got the one that added horse combat, but I had no idea what number it was.

I should probably start trying to remember that, lol.

Or the patch that fixed my bloated save file (18mbs to 12mbs), that rendered my file useless with no way to play it.

lol, I'm not much good at figures myself but oddly I remember these kind of things. And it's "mounted combat"; I think it says more than "horse combat".
