Do you even enchant your weapons?

I'm not sure why but... i NEVER enchant my weapons. I just dont think the extra effect does much once you are a certain level. Also the effect seems like it dirties the weapon since it doesnt look that great. Im using the xbox version so maybe it is different for pc. If i could gain the effect that chillrend and dragonebane have then maybe i would more often.

I prefer not to enchant my weapons because i like to use the shout elemental fury to power my weapons up. Because elemental fury doesn't work on enchanted weapons. My daedric war hammer goes really fast with it.

I enchanted my weapons today. Aela got an Ebony dagger with an enchantment.(Gutslit finally finished his gift for her, which was a full set of glass armor with enchantment suitable for her, an ebony bow with an enchantment, and the best dagger he could find. Even gave her all his elven arrows.) I even enchanted Gutslit's black robe, boots, and glass gauntlets. He usually would never use soul gems because those things have souls in them, but he wanted to give Aela, who he has a crush on, the best he could give her. And found it'd be a good idea to make his clothing and weapons more powerful.

I use chillrend, only cus i like the look of it. Otherwise under normal circomstances, i don't enchant things, not even armor. Ive played since release with unenchanted armor.

If my character has the requisite skill to enchant, I do. My NecroVamp for example does and his weapon is a daedric greatsword called Mortis and is enchanted with Absorb health and soul trap. Figured I'd slap soul trap on it as the second enchantment instead of a more damage related one, so I can easily fill up soul gems to keep it recharged. Plus it is fitting with the blade's theme.
