Quick pro-tip: use short dissolves between the shots to soften the impact of the transitions.

The video reminds me of the impact that music can have on a game. Your selection made Skyrim feel like a warm, peaceful, welcoming place rather than the bitterly cold, war-torn land that it actually is.

There are a number of ways to transition from one shot to another.

What you've used is a regular CUT. Shot A turns into shot B in the space of one frame. You can also use a DISSOLVE which is where, over the space of however many frames of video you choose, shot A will fade into shot B. There's also the WIPE, which is where a visible line (usually very slightly blurred) wpies across the screen while shot A is playing, with shot B following behind the wipe-line.

Yeah, that was kinda what I was aiming for, music can really make a huge difference when it comes to videos, I wonder how it would have been if I used sad music... :P

Aha, you meant soften the transitions, i'll keep that in mind for next time, and once again thank you for your tips :)

I'm not really using any mods that alter the performance of the game, try these light mods IMAGINATOR - Visual Control for Skyrim, Skyrim Ultra Realistic Word Lightning and CLARALUX - More and Brighter Lights. The IMAGINATOR mod has several presets which you can change in-game!

And I'm not even playing on ultra quality!
