so, Markarth is still stupid buggy isn't it? I was hoping that by this time, on my second character, some of these would be fixed. I've had to use console commands to get past bugs a few times in this city arleady.

Anyways, I have no option to give Borkul the shiv, I've tried reloading a previous save a few times, any tips?


(I also noticed that if you don't select that option (to get a shiv for him) and instead select "ill pay the toll later" or something, you forever lose even the possibility to get the shiv... dialogue selections shouldn't be butchering a quest at this point in the games lifespan).

Have you talked to the prisoner sitting in from of him about seeing the Prince in Rags yet. He tells you that you'll need to get passed Borkul? What options do show up when you speak to Borkul.

You could always give it to him by shoving it into his flesh... Anyways theres a option to brawl him if he won't take the shiv, also the comment above might work as well.

Yep, you ask how to see the king, he tells you that you would have to get past borkul, you offer to get him a shiv, you get the other guy skooma, he gives you a shiv..

then I bring it to borkul and theres no more quest dialogue from him.
