New Ideas and known bugs to be fixedadded

Hey Bethesda I have to start off by saying this is a five start game, top of the line smooth running beautiful work of art. Its been made clear you listen and watch what your community of fans have been suggesting and making in mods to create the best of the best in this series of epic adventures, every game so far has trumped the last. Which in any form of media its usually fairly hard to make a sequel better or as good as the original, yet you guys seemed to have made it into an art form.

Anyways down to business, there is one add-on I'm dying to have in the game. I'm a big pack-rat, as are a large population of players, if I can pick it up, I will take it, and carry it home with me and store it in one of the many assorted boxes/containers in my house, everything from weapons and armor to all sorts of misc. randomness I feel I will end up trying to decorate my house with. This addition to the game would be a godsend, ready for it...... The Ability to freely manipulate a held object, i'm so tired and frustrated with having to slam and slide the objects around to get them to the right angle to look nice and neat in my house where I want them, like the really nice armor trophy that the owner of had almost or had slaughtered me, otherwise would just sit in a chest never to be seen. The idea being if an object is being held, hold right trigger or some other button and then using right joystick to rotate the object and left joystick to adjust distance and height. Not a necessary addition, but would be amazing. If i have to i will still go around slamming armor against walls dressers shelves and floors to angle them, after all I've gotten pretty good at if over the years since oblivion. I remember the good o'l days when you had to stand where you wanted an item to be and pray it fell strait down and not off to the side. TOWER OF TORCHES FOR THE WIN, lol the good o'l days are missed, sadly my Xbox doesn't work anymore and they removed support for Morrowind from the 360 :'(

I have two bugs I've found, not sure if they have been reported yet but better safe than sorry, in houses if you enter the house before adding in the upgrade that contain weapon racks and shield racks, when you do add them they don't work, the game doesn't even recognize that there is a space to interact with over the rack. With the book cases, sometimes once you add books to the racks you cant interact with the racks again, as well as the top racks being completely un-usable.

Thanks for listening to your community, We love you, keep up the amazing work and we will keep up the cash flow and the love.

I have the same problem with my house in solitude. I was devastated because I spent so much money on these upgrades and they didn't work. I don't think there has been a patch for this yet but it should be looked at. These weapon racks do work in other places though like once the dark brotherhood sanctuary is fully upgraded.

I haven't had either of the bugs you are talking about, and I've gone to my house both before and after buying the upgrades.

As for the addon, that kind of thing might be hard to patch in. I'm fairly sure that it would be a feature to the engine. Although I suggested back when Skyrim was first announced that you have two move object modes. You enter the first one (for moving things around the world) the same way you do now, by holding the button for picking an item up. Then, if you press a specific button while in the first move item mode you enter the second one where the mouse/right anolog stick spins the item around it's axes.

Does anyone know when the GOTY version for PS3 is going to be released? For me it seems the only way of getting rid of most of the problems of the first version. I don't think that constant patch releases will do any good at all. On the contrary, they may cause more problems and mixups...

I have a PS3 and I was eager to buy the game but, due to all the complaint I am hearing in the blogs I've decided to wait a little longer (I don't know how much though....)

Solitude house works perfectly for me ( Xbox ). I do have a question, though. Are the barrels in the basemant safe storage? I have been loathe to use them for fear of losing all that really heavy Dwemer metal that took forever to carry back. Thanks in advance.

What exactly do you think a GoTY edition is? All it is is the Base Game + Any Patches already made + DLC (on occasion)

GoTY wouldn't fix anything that the regular patches wouldn't
