When you place map marker and go to the 'Marker Data' tab, you can pick from a list of 'Types' to determine the icon of the marker. Can we add our own to this list? For example, they have unique types for each of the capitol cities. I would love to make my own unique map markers for my major towns/cities. Can we add our own stuff to this list? I can't even find where it's defined, but I cannot imagine that something like this would be hardcoded.

Any suggestions or input?

As the mapmarker is related to the map and to the compas, you should look at UI modding in the mod forum.

The only map marker UI mods I've seen that deal with map markers replace them, which is simple. But adding my own? I donno. I'll try poking around regardless to see...
