I just (today) purchased and downloaded Skyrim for PC through Steam. Skyrim seemed to have downloaded and installed correctly. However, when I start a new game, I go through the intro (the wagon ride) but as soon as I get to the village the screen goes black, the speakers repeat one sound-let eternally, and the system is completely hung -- have to do a hard reboot to get things going again.

HELP! What do I do next?
