I have beat Skyrim (MQ) 3 times now, but I never finished all of the quests yet.Well me and my quest for glory decided that owning skyrim on PC wasent enough that I had to own it on 360 as well. Well I am 88hrs in the game on PC and for what ever crazy reason I decided to start hammering the game on the 360. Now I am 40+ hrs in on the 360 and totally forgot what I was doing on PC because I spent so much time playing it on the 360 =/. Whats worse is I am totaly into my Role Play guy on the 360 and I just can't seem to get back into my PC guy. Now I am in a mess lol. I almost feel like starting over on the PC. Have any of you ever lost intrest in your Role Play guy?

You went from PC to Xbox? Wow I wish I had a PC that could run Skyrim.

I can't even come up with any reason to buy the game a second time for the XBox when you have a PC that can run it and even have the game for it.

Instead of paying 60€ for the new game, it's far easier to buy a cable to hook your PC up to your TV for 5€ and the XBox Gamepad for the PC for 30€.

I don't believe you read a single word the OP wrote. He already owns both games.

To actually answer the OP's question: yes, I have occasionally lost interest in a roleplaying character. But it wasn't because I was playing on two systems. It was because I was playing too many characters on the same system, which is just as bad. I have found that, for myself, I need to concentrate on one character at a time. I begin to spread myself thin when I play two characters at once. For me it's like trying to watch two movies at the same time: I find that I quickly lose the plot of both movies.

^Agreed, I may have two characters at the same time, but I generally play one-at-a-time, in like 10 level increments. That way, I play the character for long enough each time to keep them straight.

I have lost interest in a RP character. I'm not sure why, she was my only character at that time and done some of the thing's that I had planned for her, but not all. She wasn't OP, but also wasn't underpowered for her lvl. I made another character that was very like her and finished everything that I had planned for her.

I read what the OP wrote and I am just so baffled by his decision to buy it for the 360 AFTER he already had it for the PC, that I concluded my post there and forgot to write anything about his question.

I have lost interest in some characters as well. It really is annoying when I look at a save and can't remember what I was doing. Also, because on Skyrim you don't pick major skills anymore, I often find on new accounts that I have made, and then left. I can't remember what skills I was using.

like others have said, i have lost interest due to too many characters at one time. however, even that didn't relieve the staleness that i experienced with skyrim.

so what did i do? what i and others have advocated against in the past: a hybrid character that can do all. i can honestly say that the fun of the game is instantly back. i can wake up any day and play however i want and do any quest or play any style. i'm actually free from the roleplay.

and, this character is much more powerful than my other specialized characters. i choose the best perks from the best skills and play however i'd like.

I guess I did the same thing in a different way. I have different charcter's with different goal's.

Derik- heavy armor Battlemage, doing MQ and civilwar

Gareth- pure mage, college and explore all dwemer ruins

Sennia- sneak thief, TG and perhap's find all the Barenzaih stones.

Amber- hunter/explorer, no goal except to explore and live.

each character has different skill's, different agendas and they are at different lvl's, so depending on how I feel is which character I play.

It's mainly you need to just focus on one character. Then when you are done with them move on to another and create a new character. I would say you just lost interest in your PC guy. Just create somebody new on PC to get you back into it.

I don't see any pressing need to trick yourself into going back to the PC. If you're having fun with your 360 guy, keep playing him.

Honestly I don't comprehend why you bought the game twice in the first place.

But yeah, if you're having more fun on your couch than you did at your desk, why not stay on the couch?
