Solid Dawnguard Release Date?

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 5:40 pm

The title says it all. I know it isn't out, but post it here when it is.

To keep this topic lively, let's talk about Dawnguard.

Anybody hear any rumors about the new content?

Anybody tried the beta? What is it like?

What do you think of the new evil form they are making?

I hear there's going to be newer stronger dragons that are coming with the download.

Anything else? Post it here.

June 26 for Xbox 360, 1 month later for everyone else. There are a lot of posts regarding this too so this will more likely be closed

It Officially releases on the 26th.

I and the other Beta testers are still bound by the Non Disclosure Agreement until Gstaff says that the DLC is Officially released. Once that message posts, we could answer questions.

But until then you'll just have to be content with speculation.

Nobody who tried the beta is allowed to talk about it or they could be sued

That's cool. I wasn't asking for any information, I'm just curious if it's awesome or a total disappointment.

And I don't want to get sued, especially not by my favorite game company.

But I can say that you'll be very pleased by the DLC. It's absolutely amazing in my opinion. :D

Definitely my favorite DLC of all the Elder Scrolls games so far.

Beyond that, I cannot say anything else.

If shivering isles quality is considered a 10

then this is a 10 or 11

I think Shivering Isles is better, but I have to agree that this DLC is simply amazing. You guys won't be disappointed. (Well, people are always disappointed about something but overall this DLC will be a success.)

Also, if all goes well, the DLC should be free of any major bugs. Compared to what you'd normally expect from Bethesda, the DLC over all did not have many bugs.

I'd have to say...

If Shivering Isles was a 10 for me. And I greatly enjoyed SI.

Then Dawnguard rates... 12.

In my opinion of course.

So beta testers are allowed to hype the DLC but not answer any objective questions? Nice play Beth.

Haha I'm joking. I'm looking forward to this DLC massively as well. Very gutted that I'm on PS3... I'm almost definitely going to spoil the DLC for myself by looking online once its released for Xbox :(

Literally one thread below this one. Maybe using the search feature is too much to ask but at least scan the first page.

:D I'm hoping it's not just hype.. really really hoping. Cause once I got Shivering Isles I NEVER went back to Tamriel.
That being said I'd grab this just for the summonable spectral horse i saw in the demo and the lycantropy tree. All in all looks great and looks well worth the twenty bucks.

Ha, can you blame them? But it really is pretty darn good even if it isn't as large as SI. Conversely, if it was just "meh", I believe we'd tell you so.
