Yes, because the Adoring fan changed his race from Bosmer to Imperial.

Yes, developer oversight I suppose, but the journal speaks for itself. It is him :)

As long as I don't start hearing, "By Azura! By Azura! By Azura!" then we won't have any problems.

I think it's just a jab at every player who threw the Adoring Fan off of Dive Rock (I love watching those videos lol).

Agreed. Bethesda often throws in fun little meta-references to past games (mostly through Mai'q)

Definately not a "dev oversight" as the journal date very specifically states itself to be in the 4th Era whereas Oblivion took place during the 3rd Era. Also the race thing.

It's a reference. The Champion of Cyrodiil became Sheogorath, and how would the Fan be able to kill a Daedric Prince?

It did say Cicero disguised himself. Are you saying you thought that hair was natural?

I admit I laughed out loud (and felt a twinge of guilt) when I read Cicero's description of the Grand Champion: "The arrogant fool..."

It's just a reference to the adoring fan from Oblivion... It's quite a normal thing to get a huge fan after becoming the grand champion and this is 200 years after the event. CoC is Sheogorath so it's impossible that it's him. Cicero is an imperial, Adoring fan is a bosmer. You need to check your logic, sir

The Oblivion crisis took place during 3E 433.
Cicero's Journal dates that event happening on 4E 187.
Not the same person, just a very funny reference.

I now agree it is just a funny reference, but not necessarily him. I'm sorry to everyone that took this so seriously... :homestar:

The Adoring Fan's hair always reminded me of a scoop of vanilla ice cream lol.

The guide described it as something along the lines of "Yellow chocolate kiss."

Always cracked me up :D

That's it!! It looks just like a chocolate kiss! Now thinking back on all the elves in Oblivion who had brown hair done in that style..sort of makes me crave hershey's kisses.

He is a different adoring fan.

It is a reference to Oblivion's Adoring Fan. But he's not the same person.
