Apparently this new 1.6 patch has broken modability. As the only answer I can find to fixing this annoying CTD issue, is to simply fully remove all mods and run the game vanilla.

Well hell, I've already run through the game once, whats the point of playing it vanilla still? I got it on PC to be able to mod it. So what I wanna know is, when is Bethesda gonna fix this little hiccup?

I have over 30 mods, and I'm not about to start playing all over again without them.

So yeah, fix it fast. Or someone give me a better solution instead of just uninstalling everything =\

Its not up to bethesda to fix mods, its the mod makers responsability to update the mod to make it compatible with the latest verison of the game. You should simply update mods that have been corrected for the new patch, and remove any that have not been.

Hmm well, In this short time since I posted, I've been running tests. Seems the CTD is with my bound sword spell. As so far every other magic seems to work. So yeah.......Not shure whats up with that.... ANYWAY.

Check all your mods for compatibility with the 1.6 patch. If the bound sword spell is causing CTDs, update or disable any mods that may affect magic. It ultimately falls on you, the player, to make sure all your mods work with the game.

Well I started a new game and all seems to be well now. I used the console command to give me all spells and tested alot of conjuration spells. All seems to work now. Wierd o_O No biggie though. My new char hadnt gotten far =P
