Post » Mon Jun 25, 2012 1:56 pm

how will the quest line start do you get a mesg like fall out new vegas saying hey come to this area
is the quest line for vamp and dawngaurd started differnt areas or is it merged .you become a vamp later on in the dlc

also i have mods witch i know will affect the game i am going to reinstall the game and get rid of them all
but i wanted to find out besides vampire overhaul mods what else will i need to watch out for that may conflict wit the game

also what stats/skills should i work on with becoming vamp

i know some of these questions wont be abled to be answered and that is fine
just answer what you can
would prefer those who have done the beta test

My guess? It will be a rumour. Remember how if you asked people a 'rumour' they would sometimes give you a quest. I think it would happen just like that. Or you could just find the castles manually. I'm sure their locations will be added to the UESP Skyrim map minutes after its release

Todd Howard said that you will be able to start around level 10.
You will hear about it like a rumor (guard mentions it, Tavern keeper)

I've read on multiple sites about the guards mentioning it as you pass by. If I was guessing, a courier might come up to you and give you a letter detailing the location of the Dawnguard. Much like SIlus when doing Mehrunes Dagon's quest. For your stat choices, I would go with Illusion, Sneak, Destruction. Possibly One-Hand weaponry also. A useful Skill for a vampire in my opinion is Alteration. My vampire doesn't wear armor, just robes, so the Mage Armor spells benefit me greatly whenever I actually have to fight. I haven't reached it yet, but I'm sure the Paralyze spell will help tremendously against enemies that out level you. Best reguards for your Dawnguard playthrough!

10 is recomended minimum level, not requirement. I think I told you that once already.

Right dawnguard will be out soon, and I will probably have to go dark for a month, or maybe the CD will be safe.

We'll see.

I'm 14 for my vamp. 18 for my dawnguard. So I'm set. And I read somewhere guards will tell you about the dawnguard. I don't know about the vamps yet
