Flails chain whips : V

So i was watching the game jam video and noticed what looks like a flail/ chain whip weapon.

Follow the link and watch from 2:45 - 2:51. It only appears for a second but I was wondering what other people would think of this type of weapon appearing in future dlc.

I wouldn't turn down anything the wanted to include. If I didn't like it once it's ingame then I just wouldn't use it.
