Does companions or mercenaries you get use your poisons or potions? i would like to know because im doing an Alchemist Lp and i donw want to fight but i need poisons i will use them in some enemies i will use a dagger for that but if your companions would use it i would really apreaciated !i really need to know for my Lp

The only one I'm sure of is Heath potions.

They use Healing potions, not sure about Anti-Venom though. I don't think they would use Cure Disease as they never used one I gave them.

Edit, also, they may not use custom health (or any other that they would use) potions, only stock ones. I have not tried, but in previous games, custom potions were not accepted or used the same way by the game when other NPCs were involved.

well i gotta try with poisons i mean bandits use poisons so i should check if it works!

After testing this, could you give an update on the results please? I never thought about followers using poisons and your thread has made me curious.

I've never had a follower, but I'm working my way towards getting Cicero on this character. It would be great if he could actually poison enemies.

I never saw Lydia use any potions I handed to her. Ever.

They use my good potions that are not custom. I've only seen my ultimate healing potion used, so I decided not to pass them to any followers.
