After seeing the Avengers I was kind of inspired by hawkeye in the final battle at the end of the movie and go me to thinking about making an archer who doesn't sneak.

A few things I am thinking about is going for light armor for mobility and the stamina regen perk since I can reach the armor cap with either armor class. I am also thinking about making him a breton for the magic resistance and then using the lord stone and doing the book of love quest to have a 65% magic resistance without including any enchanted items.

I have a couple questions though. First of all does anyone know if the deadly bash perk from the block tree affects the bow bash. Deadly bash increases damage from a normal bash, and I wonder if it works for the bow as well. That way I can smack people around with my bow decently.

Secondly I am wondering if anyone on here has tried this and can comment on the concept, and how their build went.

Maybe you'll want to go with the light weight bows then since they have faster attack speed.

I'm pretty sure the answer is no, unfortunately. Bow bash is only useful for stopping the melee user from killing you and does not do any damage. Maybe very little damage.

Why did my post get moved to the dawnguard forum? I posted in skyrim cheats, hints and spoilers and never once mentioned dawnguard.

On another note I tested out the bow bash on a character with the deadly bash perk and it could 4 shot an elk, so I don't think it benefits from the perk, and the damage is rather negligible.
