Before I get too far ahead of myself, I would like to discuss which region you all would like to see for an Elder Scrolls 6. I would either like to see Elsweyr or Blackmarsh be the location of the the next game. Both have great potential and would provide contrast to the snowy, mountainous region of Skryim. I picture Elsweyr as a region with desert badlands, oasis, lush jungles, rivers, savannah, and large canyons. Blackmarsh, on the other hand, would be equally as exotic as Elsweyr. I picture it being a reedy swampland with most of the cities being fishing villages, etc. The terrain would be quite interesting with bayous, bogs, marshes, flooded caverns, and all he other aspects of a swampy countryside (read the Argonian Account books for a better outlook). Eitherway, I have faith that Todd Howard and the rest of Bethesda would do an excellent job with the game.
Besides a better, more immersive interaction system, I would like to discuss other things I would love to see in the next game. First off, lets talk character creation. Skyrim has a fatastic character creation and besides minor expansions, I would like to see a code basis for the creation system such as that of Mass Effect. This would allow console users and even those on the PC have the ability to share their character's appearance with others in a more accessible fashion rather than taking a picture of sliders. I love Skyrim's more diversified voices (especially with the Nords), but I believe that more could be done with the beast races besides having one voice for each.
Okay, lets talk about the big picture and not just the minor changes. I would like the game to bring back some familiar weapons such as pole-arms to deal melee damage at a longer range and throwing weapons such as throwing knives/stars/axes/darts/spear to apply poisons to enemies and deal pretty decent damage. I would also like to see a return of the creation of spells and maybe even have scroll crafting as an option. I want to also see a return of the levitate and slow fall spells just because of the variety of their uses and the fun they brought and also a concussive spell able to knock enemies down or even out if duel casted. In addition to what the player can do, I would also like to talk about enemies. I loved how enemies were more varied in Skyrim and on the skills they used; however, I would like to see this expanded upon such as enemies that change weapons in combat(some did in skyrim when switching between a bow and another weapon), more evasive enemies that attack faster and more fluently to increase the momentum of combat. On a lore basis, I think there should be more daedric involvement and even the return of Daedric temples such as those in morrowind. If crypts and tombs return. I think there should be a wider variety of ememies to face such as seen in Morrowind with the bonewalkers and such as opposed to skyrims skeleton and draugr. For immersion purposes, I would like to see more Roadside Inn's, wandering travelers, more small villages such as seen in ES4:Oblivion.
Overall Skyrim was an amazing (perhaps the best) game I have ever played and by no way am I trying to downplay or talk poorly about the quality of the craftmenship that went into forging a world from scratch. I am only trying to spread my ideas on how a great series can be all the more better. I hope this thread got you all thinking and brainstorming. I would like to hear feedback on what you thought and would like to see in another Elder Scrolls Game.
Sincerely,

. You hit it on the head with that post. I completely agree. It just hast to be a change up from standard European-esque areas of Cyrodiil and Skyrim. Both games are great, I love the areas, I just feel they a change up with a more exotic place similar to that of Morrowind.
