Skyrim knowledge guru? I need you!

Hey! I have a kinda long list of questions. Was hoping someone could help me out.

1) I want to use the Necromancer amulet but it has a 75% lower stamina regen side effect that is really annoying when it comes to sprinting around.
The perk "Respite" will heal stamina aswell as health, will it work to pick this perk and just cast a strong heal spell at the end of each sprinting exhaustion?

2) The "Marked for death" shout suits my mage/stealth vampire perfectly. I currently have the entire shout. I know from wiki that the armor debuff stacks, but does the health degeneration stack also? Also when it comes to pure damage how good is MfD compared to other shouts?

3) I havent taken the step to become a vampire yet as I read there is a game breaking bug in the DB questline if you are a vampire. I read that some people dont get this bug at all. Has it been patched and if not, and the bug occurs to me - at which point should I save the game - what part of the quest is it?

4) What exactly is the requirement to bring the thieves guild "Back to its former glory"?

5) Where do you start Hircines quest? After 250 hours+ of skyrim Ive found all other daedric quests, but I never found out where you start Hircines.

6) How good is alchemy and Illusion from a powergamer perspective by themselves alone? I kinda want them both for roleplaying reasons and I dont intend to use smithing and enchanting. However perks are hard to come by and potions are plentiful. Is the poisons and potions you can make worth the hassle? When it comes to Illusion I hear calm+Invisibility combo for 15x(30x) sneak attacks is BEAST. Opinion on that?

7) I remember having read that even in stage 4 vampirism, you can still avoid being attacked by citizens by wearing full helmets, mask and so on. Does this always work?

8) Necromage+vampire combo. I know the rule is "First get them both then spend the perks they affect" but does it matter which of necromage and vampirism you get first?

9) Smithing + enchanting cost alot of perks. WIll the alteration talent to make mage armors 4x as strong if wearing no armor be a decent substitute to survive enemy archers? Melee dont concern me (Conjuration tanks+follower tank)

10) I noticed you can enchant unique items like whuutrad. Can you enchant weapons like whuutrad and mehrunes razor and keep the special enchant (+dmg vs elves, chance to instant kill).

Thanks to anyone who can help to enlighten me!

Well I can answer a couple.

The "Marked for death" shout suits my mage/stealth vampire perfectly. I currently have the entire shout. I know from wiki that the armor debuff stacks, but does the health degeneration stack also? Also when it comes to pure damage how good is MfD compared to other shouts?

Probably my second favorite, and only because I use Unrelenting Force more often. I found the full shout very effective against dragons and high level enemies. Will it kill them outright? Not in my experience, but it can make what might otherwise be a long perilous battle much shorter and easier. In fact I don't know that I even want the full shout again because at higher levels it just made me feel too OPed and I couldn't resist the tempation to use it.

Just be careful you don't accidentally catch any neutrals or friendlies in the blast since it can mess them up quite a bit, perhaps permanently.

5) Where do you start Hircines quest? After 250 hours+ of skyrim Ive found all other daedric quests, but I never found out where you start Hircines.

City of Falkreath. First time you go there, there should be a service going on in the graveyard. Talk to some of those participating, if you've missed it then talk to locals until you get the option to ask who the service was for and proceed from there.

10) I noticed you can enchant unique items like whuutrad. Can you enchant weapons like whuutrad and mehrunes razor and keep the special enchant (+dmg vs elves, chance to instant kill).

I dunno for sure but I think so. I don't think the special "powers" of Wuuthrad and the like count as enchantments, they're more like unique magical qualities of the items above and beyond any enchantments you put on them. I haven't enchanted Wuuthrad but I know some people have and continued using it and if the new enchantment had screwed up its original qualities I think someone would have mentioned it.

For 10, no you can't echant those weapons without losing the default effect. The only way for multiple enchantments to co-exist on a weapon is if they are added at the same time (ie with the echanting perk), otherwise the later echantment will override the existing one. It is weird that way.

I'm going to answer the one that I'm confident in answering. I haven't played a lot of mages (just not my type) or vampires. So I'll leave those for the experts. But this one... yeah.. I've done this a number of times.

To bring the TG back to it's former glory, you basically have to complete the TG questline all the way through up to returning the Skeleton Key to the Twilight Sepulchur.

In addition to this, you have to complete the "odd jobs" from Delvin and Vex until you've amassed 5 special jobs in each major hold city. This will kick off a "super secret special job" from Delvin in Markarth, Whiterun, Solitude, and Windhelm. Once you've completed those four jobs, you'll get the quest compete notification and move on to accept the Guild Master position in the TG.

4) They're called "Small Jobs" and "Special Jobs"

6) I only use Alchemy to make +120% Fortify Smithing potions so I can improve leather-based armors past the cap. ...but that is with 4 pieces of +25% Fortify Alchemy (self-enchanted).

Illusion is very powerful especially with the Master spells. Make sure you get Quiet Casting and the perks that affect higher-level targets.

You'll also need Muffle for backstabs if your Sneak isn't high enough.

7) I remember having read that even in stage 4 vampirism, you can still avoid being attacked by citizens by wearing full helmets, mask and so on. Does this always work?

9) Armor Rating caps at 567 (or somewhere there about) so whatever combination gets you there. You can enchant items with Fortify Light/Heavy Armor to help.
