I don't even know if Hearthfire has even been officially announced, although people seem to be under the impression that it is coming.

My guess is that the next DLC will be released around October'November.

Fireplaces across Skyrim are now going to spit out Flame Atronachs. Enjoy.

People are becoming impatient for Hearthfire already? Dawnguard hasn't even released for 2/3 of the consoles yet, so as awinston said, don't expect it till fall/winter. And even then, 2/3 of the consoles have to wait another month for it.

Hi there iiStEaLXx!

Impatient isn't the word. From my extensive snooping around, there's nothing in Dawnguard for me, so I'll be passing. Hearthfire has now become the focus of my interest, in the hopes of something truly captivating.

I suspect either right before or right after Christmas. It's a marketing thing.

The only time a dragon has killed a townsperson in my 370ish hours of Skyrim was when Alvor in Riverwood attacked the dragon with a dagger.

10 hours? Yeah, maybe if you playthrough it once and dont fully explore it.

The only thing I care about in the next DLC is an expansive area to explore. (new province or something on scale with SI)

Hectic, HI! How are you?

I wouldn't count on a new province, that's roman numerals material. Nonetheless I'd like them to pursue this Add-on line of thinking, minus vampires, and focus on ways to improve gameplay, adding new content, of course, but making sure such improvements integrate seamlessly with the main game, the way Dawnguard does. And Beth please do pay close attention to the storytelling. I'm sure I needn't tell you there are other ways besides old fashioned exposition dump to convey a good one.

I loved spears when I was a kid. Now they're not as appealing anymore, I'd rather have flail weapons.

OP, did you notice that you misspelled long in your topic title? Im no spelling bee champion but it would be hard to misspell that word. Oh, wait, they don't teach spelling in high school anymore
