I have a miscellaneous quest that I have completed. Now it is stuck under the miscellaneous quest log. I can not use a command to complete it and can not click on it. I did a reset and all that did was make a duplicate quest for the same quest that I was trying to remove from the log. So I just went and did the quest again and guess what the corrupt quest is still in the quest log.

Anyway to fix this issue? Thank you.

Dovah Krosis Like the nick name.

I tried the commands. I even reset the quest and completed it an guess what it duplicated it. The miscellaneous quest is "Bring Some Frost Salts to Dravynea" quest id FreeformKynesgroveA http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Dravynea%27s_Frost_Salts. I completed it and then did not get the +1 to alteration. So I tried the completed quest command no effect. I did the rest quest command. Then it showed up twice in the quest log. I completed anyway to see if it would dissappear but one did and the other did not. The second time I completed it I did get my +1 to alteration skill. The strangest thing is that I can not even click on the quest. I tried everything nothing works.

Erm, I have never done that quest nor actually heard of it til now, so without the correct quest ID, could be tricky.

Personally I would try "getstage xxxxx" to see what point into the quest I am, and then "setstage xxxxx xx" to whatever stage is the 'finish' point.

Sorry, but there isn't enough information for me to go on to give you a proper answer, I feel for you, as I too have a thread in this section about Solitude hostilities hehe.

Skyrim can be a PITA when it wants to be.

Thanks btw, I just thought Dovah Krosis sounded cool, and at the time I made this account my Nord Warrior was called Krosis. (I actually named him after what some Draugr said to me hehe, imagine my shock when I was stood face to face with the 'real' Krosis!)

I did try what you stated. GetStage and SetStage. I even did completequest and it is still there. Like I said can not even click on it under the quest log. And if I rest the quest then I get a duplicate quest with the bug quest always in the quest log.

I have no idea then, probably better off waiting for someone more experienced to come along.
