Im trying to get the 50 skill book thing, but the only problem is I read books everywhere I go trying to get it and it seems like impossible to find any. I probably have a told of like 30 read. I was wondering is there anywhere like a library or something where I can just go and read them real quick or is that to good to be true.

They're spread out to make it "challenging".

There is no skill book library. pick up every book you find. they can be found in crypts, castles and even alters out in the world. They are random too. only a few are always in the same place.

They wouldn't all be in the one place, but there are some places that have a lot of books that you can read. Any Jarl's residence will have a bunch of books.

Clan Battle-Born Residence
Arcadia's Alchemy Shop
The underground cemetry
The drunken Huntsman Inn/Trader
Honningbrew Meadery
Jorrvaskr
Dragonsreach...


You get the idea. There are skill books everywhere - both in cities and homes, and in dungeons, ruins, forts, etc.

There are some just lying around out in the wilderness, at a variety of unmarked sites, albeit near something that might help to explain how they got there.

if youre on pc you can read them all in a couple of minutes with the console.
