I am sick and tired of the war between strictly PC players and strictly console players. Now, I'm not saying that it's like this with all of those players, just a select few. However, The exclusivity period of Dawnguard has sparked a lot controversy lately and it's making my head hurt. But even before Dawnguard was in the picture, I saw PC players insulting xbox players. I can understand that they would be upset that Skyrim was built for the consoles... the vanilla UI on the PC is horrible, in my opinion. But what makes them think that just because they own the PC version they are a better gamer than those who play on the consoles? What makes them think that they can make fun of a console player just because they can't afford a PC powerful enough to run the game? But don't get me wrong, some console exclusive players are just as bad. There is nothing that annoys me more than an obnoxious, arrogant, uninformed console player claiming that the xbox is better for Skyrim. I mean... you just have to look at the facts to understand that the PC is a better option when it comes to performance. It looks better, it sounds better, it plays better. And also, mods. Do I even have to go into that? And these console gamers that fancy themselves the better players just because they get Dawnguard early... make me sick.
So there you have it. I just wanted to get that out there. I think it's a good topic for discussion. I suppose there is a good possibility of this getting locked, but feel free to share your opinions.
Thank you for your time.
